Mrs. Mary Ann Moore, age 85 of Griffin passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at her residence.

Mary Ann was born in Graceville, Florida on December 27, 1936. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Watford Garner and stepfather, Early Garner. Mary Ann and her husband Pierce were married for 65 years. She was a retired Educator having worked as a high school teacher for Jonesboro High School for 32 years, and retired from Griffin Technical College after 11 years of teaching. Mary Ann and her husband Pierce were long time members of Southside Baptist Church.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Pierce of 65 years; son and daughter in law, Will and Cyndi Moore; daughter and son in law, Dawn and Terry Bryant; grandchildren, Jack Bryant, Samantha and Guido Coppola; brother and sister in law, Wallace and Brenda Garner; nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Southside Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be conducted in the sanctuary at 11:00 am with Reverend Don McMurry officiating.
